UCA Purpose & Board of Directors

UCA’s stated purpose is reflected in the Preamble of the UCA bylaws:

Recognizing the need to collectively address issues important to the quality of life of South Los Angeles residents, preservation of South Los Angeles communities, and social, economic and racial justice, Baldwin Hills/Crenshaw Homeowners' Coalition, Expo Communities United (Baldwin Neighborhood Homeowners Association, Baldwin Village Gardens Homeowners Association, Expo Neighbors Association, Jefferson-Buckingham-Adams-Crenshaw-La Brea Block Club), and Save Leimert Neighborhood Coalition in unity establish this Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation.
